Trees play the part of a best friend for everyone- for human, for animals, for birds. We can’t think about living without trees even for a minute. As we know it is the natural gift of God, which offers numerous benefits to all. Its preciousness can’t be spoken in words.

However, in the last few decades, due to the rapid increase in human development, the standard and better lifestyle is the first factor, which has been considered by everyone for their living. Thus mostly attention is on the urbanization. A famous quote reads, “Imagine if trees gave off Wifi signals we’d be planting so many trees, we’d probably save the planet. Too bad they only produce the oxygen we breathe”. It is sad how we have grown so accustomed to technology that we overlook the harmful impact it is having on our environment. Not only is the use of technology destroying nature but it is also separating us from the same. As trees and forests are being cleared away each day in an incautious manner, the issue of ecological imbalance is becoming a cause for the situation. Don’t you think for the sake of urbanization, we became rude toward trees?

So what can be the solution for this serious matter?

The best solution is the translocation of trees. This helps the environment in many ways. It is the kind of revolutionary strategy to create a Green world.

What does transplantation of trees mean?

Tree transplantation refers to moving a live tree from any location and planting it to some other location. The main aim for this is to save the trees from being cut in the wake of urbanization. It may be done for various reasons such as for widening of roads, construction of a new building, revamping of an existing structure, building a flyover or anywhere where trees are an obstruction.

How is it done?

  • Once the tree is identified, the earth around the roots is dug and the roots are treated with chemicals to help in the transportation.
  • After a week the tree is lifted with a crane and the roots are packed up in a large jute bag, making a root ball out of them.
  • The tree with most of its branches pruned is then transported in a trolley to the new place, where a root ball trench has already been made and the soil has been treated with anti-pest and anti-disease chemicals.
  • The tree is planted in the new trench, and for the next couple of months requires close monitoring.

Although it is a tedious process. Yet a step towards it is the sign for making a green and healthy world. Trees not only remove harmful chemicals from the soil but also help reduce the greenhouses leading to global warming. Go on with trees translocation and help in making a green environment.
